FAQ - How do I embed Hyperlinks correctly in my (InDesign) Document?

How are hyperlinks embedded correctly in InDesign so that they are transferred to the workbench during the text import?

There are three different ways to embed hyperlinks in a document:


1.

• Select the corresponding text
• Menu Font formats
• Select hyperlinks and cross-references
• Insert new hyperlink

2.

• Mark the corresponding text
• Right click
• Select hyperlinks
• Insert new hyperlink

3.

• Mark the corresponding text
• Select the "Properties" window
• Click on the button "New hyperlink" and insert the link.

If you have embedded all hyperlinks in your document, it is important to export the file to an interactive PDF. This is the only way to import the hyperlinks into the Workbench.
