Text-to-Speech Function

The "Text-to-Speech" function for mobile devices allows you to create accessible print products that can be read aloud whether your audience is driving, riding a bike or simply relaxing at the beach. It can also be used offline and reads all articles aloud which are available in text mode.

The Text-to-Speech function needs to be activated for each individual app and is available in several languages. It is a built-in feature on all App versions 3.1x and later and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

To use the text-to-speech feature, you must enter reading mode. At the bottom of the screen, next to the zoom settings, you will find a speech bubble symbol which functions as the activation button.

Note:
The voice settings are controlled by the operating system of your device. Android and iOS have their own text-to-speech settings and the default depends on the device type.
