Plan and Submit Scheduled Issues Directly in the Workbench
You can now plan, import, and submit your issues for the Article Feed, Chatbot, and/or automatic issue processing directly in the Workbench – without any detours.
This allows you to keep track of all current and upcoming issues and start processing them yourself whenever needed.
Important
Please create all planned issues for the current year in advance, so we can add them to our system and schedule them on time. Creating issues on a monthly basis is not sufficient, as we can only import complete publication schedules into our systems.
Once an issue is marked as planned, it can no longer be edited. However, meta information such as the issue name can still be adjusted after the import. If larger changes are required, please contact our service team at service@pressmatrix.de
How to plan your issues in the Workbench
-
In the Workbench, go to Issues → Planned Issues.
-
Click Create Planned Issue to add a new issue.
-
Enter the issue name, select the correct publication code (if there’s only one, it’s preselected), and set the release date. Then click Create.
-
The issue now appears in your overview. As long as the status is open, it can still be edited. Click the pencil icon to make changes.
-
Once ready, click Schedule to mark the issue for processing. If you’ve made a mistake, you can delete the issue at this stage.
-
Back in the overview, you’ll now see the status Scheduled. Please create all issues for the current year this way.
How to import your issues and start processing
-
To import an issue, click the upload icon next to the respective planned issue.
-
Upload your PDF file and click Submit – your issue will then be sent directly to our system for processing.
-
In the overview, the status first changes to Transferring and then to Transferred once the upload is complete.
-
After about 24 hours, the processed issue will appear in the Completed section and in the general issue overview – ready for final enrichment and publication.
