Step 1: Order your App Store accounts

Step 1 is the most complex part of the entire process and it may raise a number of questions. You will find the answers here. Make sure to plan enough time for the completion of this step. Activating an Apple Developer Account may take up to 2-3 weeks, for example. This is why we recommend you to start with this step.

 

What are App Stores?

App Stores are download shops that offer mobile applications (“apps”) for smartphones and tablets. They also provide functionalities to process payments by which you may make earnings either selling the app itself or selling paid content.

 

Which App Stores are supported by PressMatrix?

The mobile apps provided by PressMatrix are compatible with the following App Stores:

  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play Store
  • Amazon Appstore

 

(Our browser based-solution works independently from any App Store.)

 

What do you need to do?

To have your app published in the respective App Stores, you first need to order the accounts. If you already have your accounts, you can skip this step.

Further information

To order an Apple Developer account you will require the following information about your organization: e.g. name / general manager, address, contact details and tax identification details.

You will also need a valid D-U-N-S Number for your organization.

A valid credit card will also be required to pay for the (yearly) fee.

In addition, you will need an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, iPod, Mac) to order the Apple Developer account.
