Sign up for the Apple iOS Developer Program

An Apple Developer account and iOS Developer Program subscription is necessary for the distribution of apps to the Apple App Store and to receive sales revenue from Apple for payed contents. Enrolling in the Apple's iOS Developer Program is therefore a prerequisite for distributing PressMatrix apps for Apple devices.

Note: Requirements for the following workflows

  • Organization profile information e.g. company name, address, contact details and tax information
  • A valid D-U-N-S Number for your organization
  • A valid credit card for the recurring iOS Developer Program membership fee (currently $99 USD or 89 EUR per year)
  • Your organizations Apple ID (can be created within the iOS Developer Program purchase flow)

Enrollment in the iOS Developer Program

Enrollment in the iOS Developer Program takes place through the Apple Developer Portal, a web-based resource that contains all the tools and support necessary for the development and distribution of iOS applications.

In order to start your iOS Developer Program enrollment, please visit the Apple Developer Program Enrollment page ( and start the process by clicking the blue "Continue" button on the bottom of the page.

  1. Sign in or create an Apple ID
    We recommend to create a new Apple ID for your organization
  2. Choose enrolling as Company/Organization
    Note that PressMatrix cannot assist you with enrollments as individual
  3. Complete your profile
    Provide your organization details and D-U-N-S Number to Apple and submit your application
  4. Confirm the legitimacy of your business
    Apple will contact you or the specified business contact in order to validate your legal entity
  5. Purchase the iOS Developer Program
    Shortly after Apple contacted your organization, you’ll receive an email containing a link to the iOS Developer Program purchase form. Fulfill the purchase with your valid credit card.
  6. Confirmation emails
    When the payment is verified and your Developer Account is ready to use, you’ll receive two confirmation emails – one from the Apple Developer Program, and another from iTunes Connect.
  7. Finished!
    You have now successfully enrolled as a company in the iOS Developer Program.
