After you have uploaded the PDF of an issue in Pegasus and made the enrichments, the next step is the release.
In the "Publication" overview you have a whole range of options available:
Title of the issue - Displayed as title under each cover. Available are approximately 20 characters, longer titles are abbreviated with "...".
Preview description (optional) - Available under the cover via an "Info" button. Here a teaser for the issue and their topics can be placed.
Categories (optional) - If you have created categories in the publication, the issues can be added to one or more categories via this selection.
Release time - Defines when the issue should be available to readers. Even if the issue is already published, it is only visible when the entered date and time information is reached. However, in your Preview app, all published editions are visible. Here, for example, you can check the enrichment of an issue beforehand.
Language - The language defines in which language the contents of the issue are available. If the "read" or "text-to-speech" function is active, the article is read out in the default language.
Text mode disabled / activated - If the text mode is activated, the article opens in read mode as soon as the reader clicks on the article. For a good reading experience the individually recognized text zones of an article in Pegasus should be connected. If the manual effort is too high or the reading mode is not relevant for you, the text mode can also be deactivated. All text contents are then still present in the background and may be e.g. found by the search. But the reader can no longer open it in the read mode.
Single purchase settings
If the issue is available free of charge, you do not have to add any data in this form.
Price in Cents - Defines the price for the issue. Please note that Apple has fixed price levels and only these can be used here. (Apple Price Tier Matrix)
Currency - Which currency is used as a reference?
Product IDs (Apple, Google, Amazon) - If the issue is offered as an in-app purchase, an in-app product must also be created for each issue in the App Stores. The unique ID of these products is required here.

The preview pages are displayed to the reader who has not yet purchased the issue. By default, the first five pages of an issue are always defined as a reading sample. By clicking on the page thumbnail or the "X" on the pages above, pages can be added or removed. The number of possible advance pages is limited to 25.
The reading sample will only be displayed for paid editions. For free editions, the reader always starts directly in the full-value issue.
With this button the issue can be completely deleted.
Note: Deleted issues can not be restored! Please delete an issue only if it is ensured that the issue and its contents are no longer required. If an issue is no longer available for your readers, it is sufficient to withdraw the publication of the booklet.
